Technology and entrepreneurship are increasingly important in today’s society. It is becoming growingly necessary to train students to have greater initiative and perseverance, to identify opportunities where others only see problems and have a mastery of new skills such as coding, robotics or 3D printing, increasingly demanded in the labour market.

These are precisely the key aspects of this project: students will use coding, prototyping with3D printer and robotics to develop projects that could contribute to improve the consequences of a social problem around us. By providing students with these skills, we are improving their employability and making it easier for them to find better jobs when they finish their studies

Entrepreneurial spirit

Having an entrepreneurial mindset is a great advantage in today’s job market. It’s what makes ideas come true, become a reality what . Besides that, Creativity is the engine of entrepreneurship. Without Creativity, there is no chance for entrepreneurship…

But can creativity and entrepreneurship be educated? Is it something genetic, con-natural, or can it be acquired? All studies and research have shown that creativity, like entrepreneurship, can be acquired. One of the main goals of this project is to develop an entrepreneurial and creativity mindset in students

Coding

It’s becoming exceedingly important to gain fluency in programming and coding. According to Mitchel Resnick, Director of the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab, “Coding is the new literacy. To thrive in tomorrow’s society, young people must learn to design, create and express themselves with digital technologies.” Coding, robotics or 3D printing, increasingly demanded in the labour market. By providing students with these skills, we are improving their employability and making it easier for them to find better jobs when they finish their studies.

Prototyping

Producing a prototype basically involves turning our entrepreneurial idea or proposal into something more concrete and material, with the aim, among others, of being able to understand in a more detailed way what its main characteristics are going to be, what works and what does not work from the point of view of the future customer or users, what its potential market could be and what resources are going to be needed to turn the idea into a real offering in the market.
